horror” Games

Horror marks titles that put fear, unease, and dread at the center of play. On GPA, we tag games that pressure you with tension, sound, empty space, and wrongness — not jump scares alone.

※ Tags are created only when 5 or more titles share them.

What is “horror”?

Horror games create fear through story, space, enemies, and unreliable rules. Forms range from survival and psychological horror to co-op scares and liminal spaces, but they share the feeling of existing somewhere unsafe. Unlike games built mainly for action thrills or puzzle mastery, horror makes the emotional hit the play itself. GPA's small-tag follows that fear-forward design even when the store genre label is broader.

Who is it for?

  • Enjoy tension in dark corridors and uncanny spaces
  • Want fear from sound, silence, and wrong details
  • Like scream reactions on stream or with friends
  • Prefer games that linger as aftertaste and discussion

Less suited for

  • Find fear or unsettling imagery draining
  • Only want bright, brisk pacing
  • Get stressed by jump scares or unfair deaths
